Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales and Marketing for an exciting new dine and play concept in Pleasanton!

As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to maximize revenue and profitability for our hospitality business. You will lead a team of sales and marketing professionals, drive initiatives to enhance brand visibility, and foster relationships with key clients and partners. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, coupled with exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing Sales and Marketing Strategies: Formulate comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify opportunities for business development.
  2. Leading Sales Team: Manage and mentor the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives. Provide guidance and support to sales representatives in prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals. Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance team effectiveness.
  3. Marketing Campaigns and Promotions: Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content and collateral materials.
  4. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and forge strategic alliances.
  5. Revenue Optimization: Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for revenue optimization. Develop pricing strategies, revenue management tactics, and upselling techniques to maximize profitability.
  6. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to identify target markets and tailor sales and marketing efforts accordingly. Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging trends to capitalize on new opportunities.
  7. Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve business objectives. Monitor expenses, track ROI, and implement cost-saving measures where necessary.
  8. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments such as operations, finance, and customer service to ensure alignment of sales and marketing initiatives with overall business goals. Foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment to drive cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and marketing leadership roles within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, marketing principles, and revenue management strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
